PocketProbe Terms of Use
Last updated: 31 October 2026
PocketProbe is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add only the plain statements below; where they differ from the EULA, the EULA controls.
What you get
- PocketProbe is a network diagnostics and authorized security toolkit for iPhone and Apple Watch. It collects no data, does no tracking, shows no ads, and works offline.
- Every tool is free. PocketProbe Pro is an optional one-time purchase with no subscription, sold and billed by Apple through the App Store; refunds are handled by Apple. Pro unlocks nothing that the free version needs.
- Use PocketProbe only on networks and hosts you own or have written permission to test. The app asks you to confirm this before every active scan, and it has no password-guessing, credential-attack or brute-force features.
- Lookups against Shodan, VirusTotal and Have I Been Pwned send only what you enter to those services, using your own keys, under those services' own terms. The speed test, DNS resolver and public IP services named in the privacy policy are contacted only when you start them.
- Local network scans stay on the device.
- PocketProbe is not directed at children under 13.
Privacy
PocketProbe collects no data from you. The privacy policy describes this in full. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
